Rumpke Waste & Recycling crews will resume operations for most of central and eastern Kentucky on Tuesday, Jan. 27, servicing its Monday customers, as road conditions allow. Conditions will not allow service in Magoffin, Knott, Leslie and Perry counties.
“It’s our hope that we can complete our Monday routes; however, if road conditions prevent service, we will collect additional material on Monday, Feb. 2,” said Adam Rumpke, Region Vice President.
Rumpke is operating on a one-day delay this week.
- Monday customers will be serviced Tuesday
- Tuesday customers will be serviced Wednesday
- Wednesday customers will be serviced Thursday
- Thursday customers will be serviced Friday
- Friday customers will be serviced Saturday
Customers should place material curbside (even if they are traditionally alley collection) the night before scheduled collection. Please make sure carts are accessible and not covered in snow.
Most Rumpke facilities will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 27. Transfer stations in Magoffin, Knott and Leslie counties will remain closed. The Montgomery County Landfill will open at 8 a.m.
