I’m a proud resident of Powell County- born and raised in the community that shaped my values, work ethic, and commitment to service. I’m the daughter of the late Pamela McIntosh Tipton and Glen Tipton. As valedictorian of Powell County High School’s Class of 2000, I learned the importance of discipline, dedication, and striving for excellence. I continued my education at Eastern Kentucky University, majoring in Communications and Public Relations. It was here that I developed the skills to connect with people, solve problems, and communicate clearly and effectively.
I am a people person. I believe public service starts with listening, understanding, and treating every individual with respect. I have great attention to detail and I’m good with numbers- qualities that are essential to managing the County Clerk’s office with accuracy and accountability.
I will operate a professional and friendly office that is welcoming, organized, and efficient. I’m an incredibly hard worker. I pour myself fully into everything I do. I am committed to fiscal responsibility and full transparency. I want to restore taxpayer confidence in elected officials. I’m a proven leader with strong conflict resolution skills. I approach challenges with patience, fairness, and a solution-focused mindset that will always put the people of Powell County first.
I’m dedicated to improving not only the County Clerk’s office, but the community as a whole. I’m highly motivated and will run an office that reflects the integrity, loyalty, and professionalism that the people of Powell County deserve.
I’m excited to be furthering my campaign for Powell County Clerk. Make the right choice in November and help me to help you. Please note that my name will not appear on the ballot in May. That is a primary election and I’ve already secured my party’s nomination. Thank you
