What does spring bring to the Powell County Public Library?
To answer our own question…a picture paints a thousand words. Looking at the
photos from a recent Story Time program will bring a smile to your face and a bit
of warmth to your heart! Definitely words that describe spring…happiness and
warmth! Our Story Time children and caregivers are absolutely the best. We
particularly love Wednesdays when these sweet faces come into the library. It’s
like a splash of sunshine all over the place.
Every week we offer 2 story time sessions. The first one is at 10:00 for 0–3-year-
olds. The second one is at 11:30 for the 4–5-year-olds. We are getting ready for
our spring sessions and some fun outdoor activities.
LEGO Club meets on the 1 st and 3 rd Thursday of the month at 4:00. Bring your
friends and join in on all the LEGO building fun!
Adults who like to create things should plan to attend our crafting sessions on the
1 st and 3 rd Monday of the month at 4:00. Spring crafts are planned for the
upcoming sessions.
Make plans to HANG OUT WITH YOUR PEEPS on Monday, March 30 th @ 4:00. This
is for all students Kindergarten-5 th grade.
We will be creating Easter themed food baskets with a peep theme.
We always have a great time at these sessions so come join the fun!
Our spring and summer hours are now in effect: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday,
9:00-5:00, Tuesday & Thursday 9:00-7:00, Saturday, 11:00-2:00, and closed on
