Mrs. E from the Powell County Public Library made her monthly visit to the kindergarten classes at Bowen Elementary.
The students explored the wonders of the weather, learning all about helpful and harmful wind. Whether it’s a breeze that flies a kite or a gust that can cause a fuss.
The kids practiced identifying stories that are fiction and nonfiction.
To wrap up the breezy lesson, every student got to create their very own pinwheels. After plenty of folding and pinning, the classrooms were spinning with colorful fun!
Before saying goodbye, Mrs. Ware’s class made sure to capture the memory, gathering together for a big group photo to celebrate a fantastic time of learning and creativity.
