Both individuals were extremely cold due to the water temperature.
Troopers resourcefulness, quick thinking and dedication to public safety helped prevent what could have ended in a tragedy today.
KSP would like to remind the public to always wear properly fitted life jackets and ensure watercrafts are operated safely at all times.
KSP was assisted on scene by Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife, Bath County EMS and Salt Lick Fire Department.
