We are Powell County's News Source. We were founded in August of 2023

We officially went online Effective January 1st 2026. We stopped our paper print due to the extremely high cost of printing and the cost of distributing the newspaper. This combined with the world changing over to digital we finally had to make a financial decision to survive and keep informing the people of Powell County of what's going on in their community.
