Cops and Kids a Hit

We are the Red River Gorge, Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 70. We raise money
all year long to pay for this event. Each kid gets to spend $150. Participating
schools are Bowen, Stanton and Clay City elementary. In addition to our own
members we had Officers from Stanton PD, Clay City PD, Powell County Schools Police
Department and Powell Co Sheriff ’s Office shopping with the kids. Each bus required
a CPR certified adult so we had assistance from Magistrate Brian McKinney along
with Sunny Ernst with Powell Co EMS in that department. This year was a huge success!
