Colonels defeated the Knights 89–69 in one of their most complete performances of the season.
EKU had a decisive 16–0 first-half run, sparked by a Montavious Myrick (Atlanta Ga) dunk and capped by three straight three-pointers from Juan Cranford Jr. (Daytona Oh), Turner Buttry (Bowling Green Ky), and Jalen Cooper (Petersburg Fla). The Colonels led 40–24 at halftime and stretched the margin to as many as 22 points in the second half.
The home team connected on 53% from the field and 50% from beyond the arc (17-for-34). MJ Williams (Rocky Mounty NC) led all scorers with 16 points, while Jackson Holt (Cincinnati Oh) and Turner Buttry each added 14. Jalen Cooper contributed 13 points and a game-high 14 rebounds, and Myrick finished with 12 points and three blocks.
EKU improved to 7–12 overall and 3–3 in ASUN play, while Bellarmine dropped to 6–12 (1–5 ASUN). The Colonels will return to action on January 22, 2026, when they host North Florida.
