Prayer Circle
Jennifer Kincaid – 12-30-25
What was my favorite part of tonight?
Was it the win? No.
Was it watching my Pirates break 100 on the scoreboard for the second time this season? No.
Was it hearing the band play alongside alumni for the night? Awesome, but no.
Was it watching the amazing teamwork that led to another dunk from Bryson? No, not even that.
I love watching these kids happy. I love watching them succeed. The kids in the stands, the band, and on the court. But even more than that- I love watching them come together at the end of every game in prayer. Tonight when Coach Crowe started to pray I thought, “our circle is so big no one can hear him”. Then an entire gym full of excited fans talking, small kids playing- it all fell silent. Was it out of curiosity? Respect? I’m not sure, but I know the Holy Spirit was in that gym in that moment as much as any church anywhere. I pray I can always remember how blessed I am to work in a place and have my kids attend school in a place where we can cheer together, cry together, and pray together.
Thanks Bonnie Mae for capturing this special moment.

Very well said.
