Chester Wallace Miller,
75, of Stanton, husband of Betty Stewart Miller, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at University of
Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington. He was born September 1, 1950 in Perry County, Kentucky to the late Dewey Sigel Miller and Dorothy Jewell Pollard Miller. Chester was a 1968 graduate of Powell County High School who went on to work at Quality Manufacturing as an Industrial Maintenance Technician for over 40 years. He also was an electrician and worked as a Powell County Circuit Clerk Chief Deputy. Chester attended Liberty Worship Center. Survivors include, wife, Betty Miller; daughter, Honorable Monica S. Lacy; granddaughter, Molli Belle Lacy; mother, Dorothy Miller; brother, Carl (Melinda) Miller; sisters, Loinilli Susie (Alec) Pasley, Pamela (Ronnie) Poe, Loretta (Rick) Poe, and Marjorie “Margie” (Jasper) Burge. He was preceded in death by his father, Dewey Sigel Miller; brother, Dewey Sigel Miller Jr., David Miller, and Jeffery Miller; and sister, Lenora Pearl Miller. 84, of Clay City, widower of Virginia Hall, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at his home. He was born July 28, 1941 in Clay City to the late James “Jimmy” and Dorothy Goodwin Hall. Survivors include, daughters, Angela Marcum and Tonya McKinney; grandchildren, Bobbie Creech, Dustin Skidmore, and Devin Hall; great-grandchildren, Michaela Hall and Zachary Skidmore; brothers, Richard Hall, Scottie Hall, and Rodney Hall; and sister, Helen Corey. Patricia “Pat” Faye Anderson,
69, of Stanton, wife of Walter Ray Anderson, passed away Friday, December 12, 2025 at her home
surrounded by her family. She was born January 16, 1956 in Winchester to the late Harlan and Alene Helton Pitts. Pat was a retiree of Powell Manufacturing, and also worked as a Clerk at Powell Pharmacy. She was a member of Mill Knob Baptist Church. Survivors include, husband, Walter Ray Anderson; daughters, Arlene Rae (Kevin) Neal, Jessica Lynn (Randy) Ledford, and April Nichole (Donald) Flinchum; sister, Linda Arnold; Nine Grandchildren; and 7 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, Harlan & Alene Pitts; brothers Terry Pitts, David Pitts, and Danny Wayne Pitts, and sister, Brenda Yarber. 87, widow of Billy Joe Martin Sr., of Stanton passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025 at the Stanton
Nursing Center. She was born October 11, 1938 in Bowen, Kentucky to the late Avery Dave and Ethel Oaks Crabtree. Jeanetta worked many years in the Sheriffs Office alongside her husband and son, the judges office, and was a retiree of the Powell County Board of Education working from 1983-2000. Survivors include, daughter, Pam (Timmy) Tipton; grandchildren, Martin (April) Tipton, Hannah (Josh) Parsons, Hunter Clay Martin, and Cody Hall; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Tipton, Eliza Parsons, Kiser Parsons, and McKinnley Hall; and sister, Ladonna Crabtree. 79, of Stanton, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester. She was born November 27, 1946 in Pikeville to the late Lewis and Frankie Ratliff. Survivors include, sons, Brian Keith Justice, Tony Randall Justice, Gregory Lynn Justice, Kirby Dewayne Justice, and Danny Alan Justice; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
