His final chapter was spent founding Davis Artifacts, where he formed lifelong friendships through his work. Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dewey Sigel Miller; four sons, Dewey Sigel Miller Jr., Chester Wallace Miller, David Miller, and Jeffery Lee Miller; and one daughter, Lenora Pearl Miller. She is survived by four daughters, Loinilli Sue Pasley (Alec), Pamela Lovette Poe (Ronnie), Loretta Ruth Poe (Rick), and Marjorie Lynn Burge (Jasper); and one son, Carl Elvin Miller (Melinda). She also kept the family warm by making homemade quilts that were cherished by everyone. We will always imagine hearing her say “I love you”; which were the last words to her family. She was a factory worker and worked along side her husband in their many businesses, owning a car lot, auto body shop, bait shop, store, and Kentucky Energy Control until her retirement. She was a member of the First Church of God. Gearlene was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed working her crossword puzzels,swinging on her porch, and watching the birds and squirrels with her husband.
