77, of Jeffersonville, husband of Judy Williams Faulkner, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Mt. Sterling Health and Rehab, Mt. Sterling. He was born January 17, 1949 in Stanton to the late Denzil and Virginia Martin Faulkner. Denzil was a retired forman of the Kentucky State Department. Survivors include, wife, Judy Faulkner; daughter, Tina McCoy; brother, Charles (Evelyn) Faulkner; grandchildren, Haley Dean Moore and Riley Anderson; great-grandchildren, Emmerson Lovell, Beau Lovell, Reise Lovell, Lennox Anderson, Finnegan Anderson, and Theodore Anderson. Mellie M. Rogers,

88, of Irvine, KY and widow of Freddie Wendal Rogers, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Kenwood Nursing Center in Richmond. She was born Friday, June 11, 1937 in Powell County to the late W.I. & Beatrice Brandonburg Rogers. Survivors include: sons Freddie Wayne Rogers & Scottie Wendal (Sherry) Rogers; brother Clayton (Faye) Rogers; grandchildren Cory Rogers, Alex (Amy) Rogers, Kayla Wallace, & Kendra (Brad) Nolan; and great-grandchildren Emberleigh Wallace & Hollyn Rogers. Harry Thomas Davis,

81, of Stanton, widower of Ruth Ann Ruble Davis, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester. He was born August 20, 1944 in Richmond, Kentucky to the late Harry and Maurine Baker Davis Moore. Affectionately known as Tommy he was a devoted businessman whose life was guided by hard work and an unwavering commitment to being a better man for his family. Above all, he loved his family deeply, and every success he achieved was motivated by his desire to provide, and lead them with strength and love. Tommy started out alongside his father and uncles opening Davis Brothers Stave Mill in 1965 in Clay City. A community staple, Southern Treet was his next adventure working with his beloved wife and children. He later went on to open Superior Grocery Store in Stanton. His final chapter was spent founding Davis Artifacts, where he formed lifelong friendships through his work. Survivors include, daughter, Cherie (Monty) Berryman; son, David Thomas Davis; grandchildren, Haley (Trevor) Bloom, Josh (Lexie) Davis, Kyle Berryman, and Jenna Davis; great-grandchildren, Dean Bloom and Annie Bloom; sister, Dixie (Mike) Lockard; special caregivers, Amanda Barker, Karen Brewer, and Elisabeth Bishop; a host of brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. Karl Talmage Crabtree,

89, of Stanton, widower of Lula Belle Lowe Crabtree, which was the love of his life, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Saint Joseph Hospital, Mt. Sterling.  He was a US Army Veteran and proudly served. Talmage retired from US postal service and was a contractor for prestressed services for an additional twenty years. On weekends he enjoyed dune buggy riding with family and friends and was also known to enjoy to enjoy a card game or two with friends. He was born April 18, 1964 in Middletown, Ohio to the late William K. and Betty J. Halsey Barnett. 73, of Clay City, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Saint Joseph Hospital, Lexington. He was born October 5, 1952 in Clay City, Kentucky to the late Lonnie and Ada Rogers Patrick. Leon was an avid rabbit hunter, fisherman, and enjoyed his Begel dogs. He was a long time employee of Kentucky pools. Leon enjoyed spending time with his family and his Sunday flea market trips. Survivors include, daughter, Emily Jones; sisters, Minnie Shoemaker, Mary Lou Burkhart, and Wilma Siler; grandson, Corey (Whitney Reed) Jones; great-granddaughter, Lydia Jones; the best former son-in-law, David Jones; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was born August 10, 1960 in Irvine, Kentucky to the late John and Shirley Wells Conner. 89, of Stanton, KY passed away Monday, February 2, 2026 at UK Medical Center in Lexington. She was born Tuesday, September 1, 1936 to the late Willie Clay Bailey & the late Crystal Johnson Bailey. She was a member of Hatchers Creek Church of God. Survivors include: son Larry Joe (Vickie) Alexander; daughters Patricia Alexander, Betty (Kenneth) Kelley, Donna Nickerson, & Kelli Sue Malcolm; brothers Danny Bailey & James Bailey; sisters Debbie (Mark) Hobbs & Janet Sullivan; numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren, including grandson Mike Morton. Beverly “Snookie” Joyce White,

82, of Stanton, widow of Raymond Kendall White, passed away Friday, January 30, 2026 at Stanton Nursing Center. She was born February 7, 1943 in Clay City, Kentucky to the late Thomas S. and Genevieve Roundtree Everman. Snookie was a former employee of Kentucky River Foothills and longtime employee of Ron Hub. She had a lively spirit and a big heart for her family. Survivors include, granddaughter, Jessica (William) Gardner, (of Lexington) and five great-grandchildren: Daylan Lowry and Hayden Moore (of Stanton) and Alex, Kennedy and Bryce Gardner (of Lexington); brother, Tommy (Terrie) Everyman; and sisters, Linda Furray and Marilyn Finney. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Kendall White, daughter, Connie Lowry, and grandson, Ryan Keith Lowry. Dorothy Jewel Miller,

95, of Clay City, Kentucky, passed away at home surrounded by her family on January 29, 2026. Born on November 8, 1930, in Hazard, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Lenora Pollard. Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dewey Sigel Miller; four sons, Dewey Sigel Miller Jr., Chester Wallace Miller, David Miller, and Jeffery Lee Miller; and one daughter, Lenora Pearl Miller. She is survived by four daughters, Loinilli Sue Pasley (Alec), Pamela Lovette Poe (Ronnie), Loretta Ruth Poe (Rick), and Marjorie Lynn Burge (Jasper); and one son, Carl Elvin Miller (Melinda). She also leaves behind nineteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. A member of the Friendship Baptist Church, Dorothy will be remembered for making handmade crochet doilies and homemade candies and gingerbread that she proudly gave to family and friends. She also kept the family warm by making homemade quilts that were cherished by everyone. We will always imagine hearing her say “I love you”; which were the last words to her family. We couldn’t have asked for a better Mom or Nanny who loved unconditionally and was the glue that held us all together. We will miss her everyday. Gearlene Faye Pasley,
87, of Clay City, wife of Lenwell Clay Pasley, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at the Stanton Nursing Center. She was born March 29, 1938 in Clay City, Kentucky to the late Omer and Beatrice Abney Puckett. Gearlene later married Lenwell Clay Pasley on December 3, 1957. She was a factory worker and worked along side her husband in their many businesses, owning a car lot, auto body shop, bait shop, store, and Kentucky Energy Control until her retirement. She was a member of the First Church of God. Gearlene was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed working her crossword puzzels,swinging on her porch, and watching the birds and squirrels with her husband. Survivors include, husband of 68 years, Lenwell Pasley; daughter, Shari (Daryl) Faulkner; son, Lenwell (Heather) Pasley Jr; sisters, Maxine O’Hair and Joan Hall; grandchildren, Justin (Kayla) Faulkner, Jeremy (Natalie) Faulkner, Victoria Jasser, and Tiffany Pasley; great-grandchildren, Aiden Faulkner, Riley Faulkner, Caroline Faulkner, Noah Faulkner, Parker Faulkner, Daleela Jasser, Aleena Jasser, and Hensley Feltner. Donald Gene Clouse,
70, of Jeffersonville, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026 at his home. He was born July 17, 1955 in Nicholasville, Kentucky to the late William Levi Clouse and Ruth Means Clouse. Donald, a faithful member of the Apostolic House of Prayer, walked closely with the Lord and was a faithful servant. No matter the obstacles, Donald always wore a smile. He had a deep love for those around him; family, friends, and strangers alike. He was always willing to help those around him or to cut up.
